Peer Recovery Support Specialists
Peer Recovery Support Specialists are the primary staff user type in the RecoveryLink application. Peer specialists can perform brief intakes, drop-in referrals, peer facilitated group sessions, and add organizational activity logs.
For one to one service delivery, Peer Specialists require a participant to be assigned to them to facilitate sessions in all cases except for peer-facilitated groups. For the brief check-in only service pathway type, this assignment happens automatically following a brief intake. For the comprehensive service pathway type, assignment is completed by a peer supervisor or organizational administrator from the needs assignment, participants tab. After assignment, peer specialists can also complete full intakes, initial recovery plans, follow-up engagements, care coordination sessions, brief check-ins, and discharges.
