Assessments Module

The RecoveryLink assessments (and assessments+) microservice module allows for staff and participants to complete standardized auto-scored assessments - including one time and recurring assessments, as well as ad hoc or scheduled assessments.

The basic assessments microservice limits enterprises and organizations to utilizing the assessments block to deploy the included Brief Assessments of Recovery Capital (BARC-10) assessment with participants. On initial setup, an enterprise administrator should navigate to the enterprise library (i.e., RecoveryLink customization engine) and place the configured assessments block into any session template that an assessment should be completed. Please note, the default assessment block is optional, but enterprise admins may change this configuration to require the block, thus requiring the assessment.

Enterprises may also elect to add the assessments+ service, which allows for the creation and deployment of an unlimited number of standardized assessments to their RecoveryLink instance and all enterprise-owned service organizations.

Once turned on for the enterprise, enterprise admins may navigate to the enterprise library assessments microservice customization screen to create new assessments, clone existing global assessments, and set other behaviors for their owned service organizations independently. Newly created assessments can contain a range of question types (e.g., drop down, radio, multi-select, etc) and may have standardized vocabularies and values. The microservice will auto calculate assessment results from provided values, and also allows an enterprise admin to set any number of recommended action steps to display to staff and participants based on the calculated score at the end of an assessment.

Assessments created here may be deployed in any combination of assessment blocks, configured by the enterprise admin via the customization engine > blocks screen.

After deploying and making your assessments avaialable. staff and participants will access assessments either within a session or from the participant profile > assessments sidebar menu item. Here, you will find a variety of screens that focus on displaying analyzed data from completed assessments, completing new assessments, and scheduling assessments to be completed in the future (including reminders).
