Enterprise and Organization Management - Overview

Each RecoveryLink customer is managed by both enterprise administrators and organizational administrators. For each deployment of RecoveryLink, a customer will have an enterprise organization which can be used as a sandbox environment, for service delivery by the enterprise, and is also the place for using the customization engine to set your specific data collection requirements for staff users. Customers that are a single organization will have two available organizations at their instance creation - the Organization Name (Enterprise) [which is the enterprise itself] and Organization Name [which is considered the service organization]. Multi-organization enterprises will have the enterprise organization as well as several service organizations.

Only the enterprise administrator will have access to the Enterprise settings, which is where they may use the sandbox to test changes, provide services as needed, and most importantly, make changes using the customization engine and enterprise management features.

Each service organization instance as part of an enterprise will inherit the customizations completed by the enterprise administrator in the customization engine. This is true whether a customer has one organization or 50 as part of their enterprise. Enterprise administrators may add new organizations, manage program IDs and service locations, and manage staff across the enterprise.

Program IDs and Service Locations are used throughout the application to assist in segmenting and categorizing data as needed for reporting and other purposes. Program IDs can be assigned to participants, as well as to activity logs and supervision sessions. Service locations can be assigned as default locations to a given participant, but may also used to assign a specific delivery location of an individual session or activity log, which is especially useful at the participant level when they are typically served at their default location but may have a session delivered at another service location ad hoc. You may have as many program IDs as needed and may add as many locations as needed, but please note additional locations may impact your pricing depending on your master service agreement.

Organizational administrators do not have permissions to use the customization engine, but may manage program IDs, service locations, and staff accounts for their assigned service organizations. They may manage these elements from organization sidebar menu item when logged in.
